Meet The Coaches

The Coaches of Fitness320 are unlike any other!! We will not only show you HOW to do the exercises correctly, but teach you WHY you are doing them and WHERE you should be feeling them to ensure the most effective workout! Form is KEY and we will always be there to help guide you so that you are confident in the movements as you build your strength and increase your endurance! You will feel like you are getting a personal training session with the FUN of group fitness at every workout! Come experience the Fitness320 difference!!! 


Coach Barb

Barb is the owner and founder of Fitness320. Her vision for Fitness320 was for it to be a place where ALL women (and men) could come and not only get an incredible workout, but find joy and community and leave each class feeling empowered!

Seeing Fitness320 grow across all of Tampa Bay and now virtually is a dream come true for Coach Barb. “There is nothing better than seeing the progress of our members and hearing their success stories! From strength gains to healthier blood work to increased bone density to endurance improving and members having personal records for race times….the stories keep coming in and we are so proud to be a part of it all.”

Barb is married to her best friend, Rick and she has 5 children. When she isn’t coaching or getting her personal workout done, she loves playing beach volleyball, running and doing any activity with her family.

Favorite Exercise: Just one?? She loves pushups & Pullups equally…oh…and burpees!

Coach Brenda

Brenda joined Fitness320 as our “Basic Training”  coach in September of 2018. Brenda has been involved in some type of fitness most of her life, so she decided to obtain her certification with the specific goal to work with men and women 50+. She has been able to reach that goal by coaching Fitness320’s active aging classes.

“I love that Fitness320 is based on the scripture in Ephesians 3:20– Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his ‘power that is at work within us.’”

Brenda has encouraged her members to find the power within. As a coach, the most rewarding aspect for her is to witness her members making health improvements.

“Fitness isn’t just about losing weight. There are so many aspects of being fit that impact all areas of life. Exercise improves our quality of life both physically, mentally, and socially.”

Favorite exercise: Dancing which means that at any given time in my class, we may just break into dance. The twist is one of our favorites and line dances are also popular.

Coach Michele S

Michele joined Fitness320 in October 2019, because of her love of fitness. She was drawn to Fitness320 because of the focus on form and individual attention given to members. Since joining Fitness320 she has loved watching her members encourage each other and grow their friendships.

“My best Fitness320 memory so far is having one of my members who lost over 30lbs run a 5k and push herself so hard she threw up! As soon as the race finished, she ran up to tell me, which made both of our days.”

Michele is married and has three boys. She loves to spend time with her family outside on the water. Michele also loves to read and run.

Coach Tracy K

Tracy K joined the Fitness320 team in May 2020 and launched her first camp on July 21, 2020.

“Bootcamp is a place filled with motivation, inspiration, love, knowledge and all the support needed to reach goals you only dreamed of. Bootcamp is a group of strong women empowering each other to reach goals and change that negative talk into motivation to drive you to succeed!”

Tracy has been married to her husband for 13 years and they have two sons, Logan and Mason. They all love the beach, mountains, hiking, family bike rides, movies and hanging with family and friends.

On August 27, 2018, Tracy was diagnosed with Celiac disease.

“I believe that being diagnosed with Celiac disease started a journey that I didn’t see coming. I was determined to better my health. Fitness then became a priority in my life. Becoming my own health advocate and keeping exercise in my daily routine, all directed me on this path to become a Bootcamp coach. I am so passionate about health and fitness and am incredibly grateful to share my passion and to coach others on their very own fitness journey!”

Favorite exercise: BURPEES! I love that it is a good cardio burst, as well as a whole-body workout.

Coach Sydney

Coach Sydney joined the Fitness320 team in 2020. Before joining Fitness320, she was a Hip Hop coach, dance instructor, and a professional cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“Coming from my dance background, my body has been put through a lot athletically, so it was very important to me to find an exercise program that would allow me to live my best active lifestyle with longevity in mind. With Fitness320, you don’t just go through the motions of a workout. You are taught how to perform the exercises correctly, how to strengthen that foundation, and how to work towards your goals all while preventing injury.”

Sydney is wife and mother of two, Scarlett and Atlas. They have three cats- Storm, Rogue and Gambit. The whole family loves the outdoors, and they hope to one day move to the mountains where they can hike waterfall trails.

Coach Rachel

Rachel is a 500RYT yoga instructor who has been teaching yoga since 2015.  She always has had a fondness for the movement of the body and attributes her love to her career as a dancer and to her mother, who woke her up on countless early summer mornings for bike rides and workouts with Richard Simmons, Jane Fonda and Gilad.

Being a part of Fitness320 is unique in that it creates a mindful and inspiring experience for both the teacher and the student.  Fitness320’s teaching style holds space for non-judgment, compassion for the journey of health and fitness and the wellbeing of the individual as a whole. These ideas are what she aspires to create and apply in her classes, as well as feeling refreshed, nurtured and strong after a yoga practice.

Rachel has been married to her husband Matt for more than half her life and together have 6 children and 2 grandchildren.

“I hope to encourage a love for the mind, body and soul as my mother has done for me and to inspire my children to take wonder in the body’s invisible work of regeneration , restoration and healing through mindful and nurturing care. “

Coach LIz

Liz joined the Fitness320 team in April 2018. Liz started as a member in Barb’s bootcamp and loved the style of workouts. She previously taught Stroller Strides, so when Barb asked if she was interested in coaching again, she jumped at the opportunity. Not only did she love the workout style, but she believed in Barb’s vision for the business.

“I love that we are empowering people with strength and confidence! I love when members contact me to tell me they feel stronger, that is the best compliment and gives me all the feels!”

Liz has been married for over 15 years to her husband Brian and is a mom to three children.

Liz was raised in Tampa and cheers for her home teams- the Bucs and the lightning, and when it comes to college teams, she has always loved the Gators!

Favorite exercise: Burpees! I always make cheesy jazz hands and say it all excited when they are in a workout! I get a lot of eye rolls, but it is ok, I am weird and embrace it!

Coach Jennifer D

Jennifer joined the Fitness320 team because she loves to work out and she loves to teach. Coaching with Fitness320 brings both of those passions together!

A fitness coach is just one of Jennifer’s many roles, she is also a wife, mom and science teacher. She has been married for 15 years and has two boys. Hanging out with her family is her favorite thing. They enjoy riding bikes, reading together, Friday night movies, going for Jeep rides and cheering on the Ray’s.

In Jennifer’s spare time she likes to read articles that have to do with living her best life, especially healthy eating.

Coach Jen F

Coach Jen F joined the Fitness320 team in February 2020.

“I love the environment and Fitness320 family! I’ve met so many amazing people and it’s really cool how strangers become great friends through fitness. Also, our programming is by far the best around. The coaches ensure you are doing everything from start to finish with correct form – that’s huge! I saw massive improvement with myself when I started training with Fitness320.”

Coach Jen was born and raised in Tampa. She has been an athlete all her life. Her favorite sports were track and field – She was a sprinter and pole vaulter in high school and waterskied competitively. In the past couple years, she’s found a love for running and has completed two marathons.

She has been married to her husband, Joey, for over 13 years and has two amazing boys Joey and John. When Coach Jen isn’t working or coaching, you can find her spending time with her family or training for her next race.

Coach Megan

Megan joined Fitness320 as a Coach in October 2019, but has been with Fitness320 as a member since September 2018.

“I love the accessibility and price that makes it so everyone can join. I love that the workouts are never the same and always challenging. I love that we have a leader that is so passionate and always helping us learn to pass that to our boot campers!”

Megan spent a lot of her adult life very sedentary and now exercise 6 days a week along with a heavy focus on nutrition.

“I lost over 30lbs and overall healthier and clear minded. Anyone can do what I have done. If you want to make a change, set your mind to it and make it a habit.”

Megan loves spending time with her family. She has an amazing supportive husband, Anthony, and two children, Ava and Asher. They live in Land o’ Lakes with their Great Dane and two cats. She loves the sun and the water and would be on a beach every day if she could.

Coach LeAnne

Coach LeAnne is not only a bootcamp coach but also our Nutrition Coach for our Intentional21 program!  She has been interested in sports, fitness and nutrition for as long as she can remember. She played a lot of different sports growing up, even played tennis in college and has always been passionately driven with her own personal fitness and nutrition journey. A few years ago, a life coach helped bring clarity to the passions and purpose in her life and since then, she has been actively pursuing a path in fitness, nutrition, and health coaching. It is what drives her and gets her excited. She loves how good it feels to feel good and she wants others to be able to experience this same feeling! Her desire is to help others to learn how to be physically fit and healthy by making it a lifestyle.
While her coaching style is motivating and encouraging, she also challenges her clients and members to push themselves and to keep on improving themselves!
“I am so pumped to be a part of the Fitness320 team. I love that Fitness320 strives to provide quality fitness to people of all fitness levels in positive and encouraging environments. I love getting to help change lives through Fitness320.”
LeAnne grew up in Columbus, Ohio. Go Buckeyes!  She taught 2nd grade for 2 years, and then moved to Ft. Myers, Florida, where she met her husband, Mike. They have been married since 2005 and they have 2 wonderful, very active boys. After 14 years in Ft. Myers, they moved to Tampa, Florida to launch the South Tampa campus of Grace Family Church. In 2019, they began a new adventure in Birmingham, Alabama. Funny how God works and how 2020 was just a crazy year…we are back in Tampa at Grace Family Church and loving it!
“My mission statement is ‘I choose to be positive and healthy in every area of my life and to help others do the same.’ That’s why I do what I do!

Coach Michelle R.
